TMMI offers Emerson Electric and GE Digital courses at various locations throughout the US and Canada. For those with slim travel budgets, we also offer live online, Distance Learning (DL) classes that are identical in content to traditional classroom training.

Dream Report Fundamentals Training

The Dream Report Fundamentals training is a three-day course to introduce students to all of the features and benefits of Dream Report. This is an instructor lead and lab oriented class where students receive your own training manual. Students will follow step by step instructions while working through the many lab examples that they will be using in their own applications.

Emerson Controller Maintenance - Logic Developer PLC (7700)

The Emerson Controller Maintenance course provides the skills necessary to diagnose and correct faults in Emerson PLCs (90-30, 90-70, VersaMax, and RX3i). Using ME Logic Developer PLC software, the focus is on interpreting existing ladder logic programs for troubleshooting purposes.

Emerson Controller Programming - Logic Developer PLC (7701)

This class covers programming techniques and the advanced features of the Emerson PACSystems Rx3i Controller using Logic Developer PLC Machine Edition.  This same software is used for programming 90/70, 90/30 and VersaMax controllers.

For location based classes, these will be 4 days, 8 hours each day. For online classes, these will be 5 days, 6 hours each day.

Emerson Movicon.NExT Advanced (7705)

Those who complete this class will be able to:

  • Apply Movicon.NExT tools such as Screen Parametrization, Power Templates, and Aliases for effective HMI application development 
  • Setup and configure OPC-UA communications
  • Create and debug logic written in VB.Net Script
  • Understand basic concepts of using 3D graphics
  • Configure and apply the Alarm Dispatcher

Emerson Operator Interface Programming - QuickPanel & View (7702)

This QuickPanel & View course introduces the View Machine Edition development environment, the QuickPanel+ machine level operator interface, operator graphics, scripting, alarm & logging, data historian, web publishing, and web documents.

GE CIMPLICITY HMI/SCADA Fundamentals (301)

The CIMPLICITY HMI/SCADA Fundamentals course is an entry-level course focusing on the multiple aspects of project configuration. Valuable hands-on lab exercises are provided which guide students through the building and modification of the HMI application.

GE iFIX HMI/SCADA Advanced (254)

HMI/SCADA iFIX Advanced course provides a more comprehensive level of proficiency using some of the product’s more advanced features. The student will become familiar with some of the tools and concepts available for optimizing and troubleshooting iFIX.

GE Operations Hub Fundamentals (455)

Operations Hub Fundamentals focuses on system architecture, Apps, Pages, Containers, Widgets, Entities, and Queries.  Connections to Historian including REST interface, Plant Applications, and RDB are are utilized during the course.

GE Plant Applications Fundamentals (570)

Plant Applications Fundamentals provides an entry-level introduction to essential Plant Applications capabilities and applications. This includes configuring the plant model, products, events, variables, calculations, user displays and user security.

GE Using VBA with iFIX HMI/SCADA (354)

Using VBA with iFIX is an advanced course focused on Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) within iFIX. An introduction to VBA followed by numerous coding examples that explore the iFIX object model are provided - making this class a must for advanced iFIX applications.

For location based classes, these will be 4 days, 8 hours each day. For online classes, these will be 5 days, 6 hours each day.

GE Workflow Authoring Fundamentals (402)

Workflow Authoring Fundamentals teaches design and development of Workflow applications. Additional topics including custom forms with the Workflow Display Builder, and connecting Workflow to various data sources including OPC-UA, Historian, and HMI/SCADA.
